You know, seriously, it’s obvious he was talking out his ass.
By virtue of denying reality, Christians cannot help but being deceitful — their very book and indoctrinators encourage it. And I have come to expect nothing less from those who are confessionally invested in the imaginary and use their Storybook to promulgate fantasies… people who posit fake realities that they imagine are created and controlled by an invisible magic being.
I asked a relative once if he would lie if he thought it would save me from going to hell. He said he would.
That pretty much says it all.
