an atheist viewpoint

thoughts from a non-theist

24 Hours Inside the Twisted Brain Wrong of a One Off Man Mental

It’s now been a day since I asked Nide/Richard/Hezekiah/Trinity a direct question, has he been able to answer it? Has he fuck! Which is odd, considering I was merely asking him to clarify an assertion that he himself had made.

I present the whole exchange below, as it gives a very clear window into a mind more broken than a bent hedge….

Just some thoughts.

Steve claims that I our exchange wasn’t “worth his time”so he left. This is not unusual. When “atheists” finally realize that you will not bow the knee to Baal. They suddenly get real offensive. My favorite is when they pull out what I call the Jesus card. That is, they claim that you are not being “like Jesus” because you won’t follow or go along with their schemes. They love to claim that you are not worth their time because of some “defect” that they claim
you have. However, this is really a rescuing device to avoid having to answer extremely difficult questions. They also like to make believe that you don’t understand their position or that you are “mischarecterizing” and “misrepresenting” them. Sometimes they make believe that what you are asking them is “unintelligible”. That’s just another rescuing device to avoid having to answer extremely difficult questions. In short, if you’re a Christian don’t forget these people need to get saved. Do what ever it takes to pull them out of the pit of hell.

Why would a non believer want you to bow your knee to ‘Ba’al’?? Seriously? Do you ever read what you’ve written?

Ba’al doesn’t exist, Richard, just like YHWH.

“Do what ever it takes to pull them out of the pit of hell.”

Great moral compass you got there! By the way do you understand an objective theory of concepts? could you give a short summery of it? Could you explain why an objectivist in light of one find most of the questions that you have been posing to be nonsensical? I very much doubt you can, but hey I could be wrong:)

still thinking about this line,

how very machiavellian of you:)

Richard, you’re literally incapable of being coherent, aren’t you?

Alex,

Which question do you want?

At April 9, 2012 7:48 AM , Blogger Alex B said…

Tell me, why would a atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

At April 9, 2012 7:57 AM , Blogger Hezekiah Ahaz said…

Alex,

Good one.

What exactly is a “non-God belief”.

All you are telling me is what it’s not but what I wanna know what exactly it is.

At April 9, 2012 7:59 AM , Blogger Alex B said…

Answer the question. To make it easy for you I’ll restate it –

Tell me, why would a atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

Try not to dodge this time.

BTW, when you use quotes around something, it helps if you’re actually quoting what the person you are talking to has said rather than something you’ve made up.

Alex,

let’s stop playing games with each other. However, I see that when the tables are turned you get a little uncomfortable.

Now, when you claim you have “no belief in any God” the only alternative I have is to imagine it. So, how is that not imaginary?

At April 9, 2012 8:24 AM , Blogger Alex B said…

Answer the question I asked, Richard. Here it is again –

Tell me, why would a atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

At April 9, 2012 9:21 AM , Blogger Hezekiah Ahaz said…

Alex,

How you do distinguish between what’s real and imaginary?

At April 9, 2012 12:13 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

Let me ask you AGAIN –

Tell me, why would a atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

You have made the claim in your original blog post, I’m asking you to explain it. Is even that too hard for you?

At April 9, 2012 1:06 PM , Blogger Hezekiah Ahaz said…

Alex, Alex, Alex,

I KNOW that you do not have a “non-God belief.”

Now, are you gonna keep wasting my time?

At April 9, 2012 1:11 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

Sixth time of asking –

Tell me, why would a atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

Going to dodge, AGAIN?

Alex,

You know I love to play merry go round. You really think you can win?

At April 9, 2012 2:28 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

Why are you unwilling to answer a simple question?

I’ll ask it again –

Tell me, why would an atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

Nope, try again –

Tell me, why would an atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

Also, let me add, how do you respond to the fact you’ve been caught out lying over at Debunking Atheists?

At April 9, 2012 5:16 PM , Blogger Hezekiah Ahaz said…

Lying?

At April 9, 2012 5:28 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

Yes, lying. You claimed that the phrase ‘transcendental reasoning’ appeared on your blog at the time we recorded the podcast, I have proved that to be untrue – you didn’t add the blog post with the phrase in it until the day AFTER the podcast was recorded.

You know this, yet you have continued to try to adopt the high ground over at Dan’s blog.

Anyway, you’re dodging AGAIN – let’s try that question for size shall we?

Tell me, why would an atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

Alex,Alex, Alex,

Oh really????????????????

Dan’s already apologised. I’ll look forward to you doing the same.

I’ve even removed the IP block so you can respond.

At April 9, 2012 5:57 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

That question you keep dodging btw –

Tell me, why would an atheist, who doesn’t believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend your knee’ to Ba’al?

Got an answer yet?

At April 10, 2012 5:37 AM , Blogger Paul Thompson said…

Hmm… It seems to me the guy who goes around accusing others of avoiding difficult questions is avoiding a difficult question.

I’d like to know the answer too. Why on earth do you believe Atheists want you to “bow the knee to Baal”.

Perhaps this was just a throw-away comment used for patronising sarcastic effect.

It would be interesting to know why you are avoiding Alex’s perfectly valid question having accused Atheists of avoiding questions.

At April 10, 2012 7:04 AM , Blogger Hezekiah Ahaz said…

Paul,

Alex can’t tell the difference between what’s real and imaginary.

Why do you think I should answer him?

ahahahahahahaah

If I had any doubts that Richard was insincere or dishonest, this thread has destroyed them.

WV,

How is it that you are not delusional?

At April 10, 2012 12:21 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

*sigh*

let’s try AGAIN

Tell me, why would an atheist, who doesn’t
believe in ANY gods, want you to ‘bend
your knee’ to Ba’al?

Alex,

you are not an atheist.

At April 10, 2012 12:29 PM , Blogger Alex B said…

yet another meaningless dodge.

Do you realise how stupid your blog makes you look? you’re an embarrassment to Christianity!

let’s see if you can salvage some honour for yourself, shall we?

Poor guy has tried to make one of Dawson Bethrick’s arguments against a theistic worldview (the imaginary) work for him (disbelief is imaginary). Unfortunately, he doesn’t know enough to realize that when he is invoking his god, it is imaginary because none of its attributes have a physical manifestation. When someone is stating a disbelief in this god, it is a conversation point with which he is interacting (evidence that it isn’t imaginary, but is happening). A point he claims he claims he has to imagine. Thus, he is forced to acknowledge that, to him, there is no difference between what is real and what is imaginary. This affirms Dawson’s point.

HA, much like Sye and the other myriad of PAs don’t fare so well when they have to answer questions. They just want to answer them, reject them out of hand, and then claim victory because they have rejected the answers, thus no sufficient answer was provided. At least according to their rules, standards and criteria. All of which are wide open on their side for what they accept, yet very narrow and restrtictive when their opposition is providing them.
