Why Do Americans Still Dislike Atheists – from the Washington Post

Long after blacks and Jews have made great strides, and even as homosexuals gain respect, acceptance and new rights, there is still a group that lots of Americans just don’t like much: atheists. Those who don’t believe in God are widely considered to be immoral, wicked and angry. They can’t join the Boy Scouts. Atheist soldiers are rated potentially deficient when they do not score as sufficiently “spiritual” in military psychological evaluations. Surveys find that most Americans refuse or are reluctant to marry or vote for nontheists; in other words, nonbelievers are one minority still commonly denied in practical terms the right to assume office despite the constitutional ban on religious tests.

Far from taking over, as some believing lunatics claim, atheists are widely vilified in the US. Read the rest of the article here.

More Joe Cienkowski

I’ve been wandering around the Merry Hill shopping centre just down the road this afternoon, and was idly musing on Joe Cienkowski and his seemingly absolute conviction that he’s right, and that he alone understands evolution.

His basic ideas are all, without exception, stolen from inspired by identical to those of Ken Ham and Kent Hovind. For some reason though, he seems to think that where they have failed to sway wider opinion, he will succeed.

I’m not so sure. Are there really masses of people out there thinking ‘I like the message of Creationism that Ham and Hovind spread, but I feel it lacks a certain white trash gravitas. I’d believe if its spokesman were a barely literate slope shouldered retard living in a trailer in Bumfuckville, Idaho Illinois!’?

If there are, then Joe’s coming to disprove Evolution for them. I hope he’ll enjoy the Nobel Prize.

The Continuing Panic of Chris Taylor, Conroe Texas’ Thickest Man

Desperately trying to reverse the search engine results for ‘Chris Taylor Conroe Texas’, the hapless Chris has farted out another post on his hilariously pathetic blog.

In a move that’s no more than a gnat trying to piss out a forest fire, he’s posted a list of the things he wants to force on students….

What Are My Beliefs That I Would Shove Down Children’s Throat
1. Capitalism is the best economic system. It rewards hard work. It allows investors to reap rewards. It allows people to make money by providing services that people want to have. Anybody could be successful when the laws are enforced within Capitalism.
2. All people should be treated fairly regardless of sex, race, religion, sexual persuasion, or disability. People have the right to be treated fairly. Does that mean people get their way all of the time? No! But all people are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. Everyone has the right to be free of harassment.
3. Living in the United States, everyone should know about the three pillars of the American Dream. One, nature has resources that can be used for human consumption, and industry and progress come from the use of the natural resources. Two, individuals can achieve anything if individuals work for it, rugged individualism. Lastly, Americans are optimistic that ever-expanding opportunity and ever-expanding opportunity exist for human beings and Americans especially.
4. Americans have saved the world from total corruption. Americans stood up to Communism and evil dicators.
5. Profits are good and necessary for a good economy.
6. Don’t blame others for your actions.
7. Treat everyone with respect and everyone should get respect. Each human is an individual.
8. Communism is not desirable and it is corrupt. It should never be applied. Communism allows the intelligentsia to control people. Capitalism is better.
9. Read every type of genre. Fiction alone will not make a human being intelligent, because it takes all genres to make a person complete.
10. Everyone can learn basic skills of reading, writing, and Algebra II.
11. Don’t take material possessions so seriously. Take time to smell the roses.

The idiot thinks these make him look good, even noble, when all they do is make him look stupid and poorly educated.

The oddest thing he’s doing is insisting on writing his blog in the third person, though he does occasionally slip and forget (see his bio). I suppose he thinks it gives the appearance of many people supporting him, despite ‘Mr Taylor’ being so transparently the man he claims to be writing about.

His stupidity being concentrated into longer blog posts only makes things worse for him, any prospective employer googling him will find just how unsuitable he is for a teaching role within moments of hitting ‘search’.

But, as I’ve said before, he can fix things by coming clean. All he has to do is admit that the bz1461 and wasp1461 twitter accounts are his, stop posting racist lunacy, and then I’ll stop posting about him. The power to stop blog posts showing how stupid his is rests entirely in his hands.

Joe Cienkowski is a total Fucking Idiot

What has Joe done now to draw my wrath? Well, he’s posted the following on Twitter….

Yeah, that’s right Joe, the rock solid, observed, quantified, and thoroughly proven Theory of Evolution ‘dumbs people down’. How’s that transference working out for you? Seriously, what a crock of outright stupidity.

‘Makes them believe the impossible can happen’?? Joe, you believe that a talking snake made a woman eat a magic fruit, you believe that all the millions of species on Earth fitted on a small boat for a year, you believe that your god sent plagues on Egypt, you believe that the walls of Jericho fell, you believe that a man was born to a woman who’d never had sex, and that the same man turned water into wine, walked on the surface of the sea, brought people back to life, cast evil spirits into pigs, and came back back to life! You believe that your god made the whole world in a week, only six thousand years ago! ‘Believe the impossible’? You’re the one believing the impossible. Do you realise that there is ZERO evidence that any of the above happened, and plenty to support the view that it didn’t?

But what’s this?

Oh, you’re going to leave evolution ‘rendered useless & nonsense’ by your ‘books’ and website? Joe, slavishly copying, with no understanding of what you’re saying, the ‘work’ of Ken Ham and Kent Hovind isn’t going to render ANYTHING ‘useless & nonsense’. Both those men, and the rest of their Creationist idiot crowd are frauds and morons, and Joe is  the biggest moron of the lot.

Microevolution

I’ve been waiting for Matt Slick’s website to post the audio from last Friday because, amongst other things, I want to check out I heard something correctly.

About 10 minutes before we finished talking Matt gave a definition of micro-evolution that I’m fairly certain was incorrect, he said something like this –

“Microevolution is the reduction in allele frequencies in a population, over a few generations,”

I’m not sure of the exact wording, but I will be soon. If I heard him say what I think I heard, then his definition is incorrect, and he’s added in the word ‘reduction’ where it should say something like ‘the accumulation of small changes in allele frequencies’

I’ll post more about this when I get to hear the recording.

Creationist, Comparable to Holocaust Deniers?

This is Keith Gilmour, writing on the 21st Floor

Creationists and holocaust deniers, however, offer a third option – but, by requiring the rejection of overwhelming scientific/historical evidence, rule themselves out of any serious discussion and therefore ‘neither’ should be invited into schools to “talk to pupils.” And they exclude themselves further via everything else that they have in common. To wit, both object that a minority of highly educated people reject what 99% of scientists/historians accept – and that this fringe group will eventually be proved right. (For holocaust deniers, see Paul Rassinier, Robert Faurisson, Arthur Butz, The Institute for Historical Review, and etc). Both are notorious for quoting experts out of context (to give the misleading impression their crank view has some serious support), for mischaracterising scholarly debate (on details) as a failure to agree even on the basics, and for seizing upon any mistake (however minor) to argue that the entire field of study is riddled with incompetence, ignorance and deception. Both rely on a kind of ‘book disproved by its missing pages’ reasoning and are forever demanding ‘caught in the act’ evidence before they’ll believe a single thing (though usually only in this area of life). Both groups imagine themselves to be victims of a massive conspiracy that shuts them out of some imagined ‘debate’ and both accuse their critics of misunderstanding them (like we think holocaust deniers imagine no killings took place at all and evolution deniers believe nothing has evolved, anywhere – ever). Call them evolution/holocaust sceptics, if that seems more appropriate!

Have Len, Fortigurn, and the other ULTRA!Christadelphians run away?

It would seem so.

Having made a whopper of a mistake about speciation, Jon/Fortigurn then insisted that his interpretation of events in the US, seen from his vantage point on the other side of the world, was more valid than that of actual Americans, living in America, then he claimed that the Bible doesn’t attack homosexuals, wrongly.

What of Len? Well, Len vanished when I stopped anonymous posters from commenting….whilst others found it an easy job to get an OpenID, Len disappeared. Oh well.

I wonder if they’ll return?

Incredible Happening Ministry, South Africa

Via The Friendly Athiest –

Sitting on the lap of a female congregant, Motsoeneng placed his hand on the head of a 17 year-old teen, who cannot be identified due to her age, and started praying for her.

Motsoeneng told the congregants her tummy had swelled up because some sorcerers had cast an evil spell on her.

As he was praying for her she collapsed. Motsoeneng then told the teenager, who was lying on her back, to open her legs, which she did.

He then plunged his fingers into her private parts and started moving his fingers inside her vagina.

That’s part of an article on a Christian Pastor’s ‘techniques’ in South Africa. Read the whole thing here.

The Wisdom of Chris Taylor

Some quick ‘gems’ from Chris Taylor, of Conroe Texas, wannabe teacher and outright lunatic

Watch out America! That Brazilian/Chinese conspiracy is out to get you!

C L Taylor Watch: Chris learns a new word

And that word is ‘sophomoric’.

Not only has he learned this new word, but he’s used it in two different places….

….that’s from his Wasp1461 account, you know, the one he denies is his.

….and that is from (drumroll please) his NEW BLOG!!

BRILLIANT!! He’s got a blog! I only know this because (d’oh!) Chris posted about it in a comment on here!! I told you it was brilliant!

Point your browser at http://cltaylor463.blogspot.com/, and you can see just how rattled this racist misogynist is. The blog is comedy gold, full of Chris-facts designed to draw attention away from my recordings of his viler/more insane outbursts…..like this one.

Every time I feel a little bit sorry for this hapless idiot, I remember that this is the man who said he would abuse any teaching position he got to force his religion on his students, has made violent sexual swear words his stock in trade on his Wasp1461 account, has likened Michelle Obama to a gorilla, and has generally been a horrible human being every time he’s posted on the internet.

But perhaps he’s changed? Perhaps he’s decided to stop being an embarrassment to other believers? Let’s look at his twitter feed today…..

…nope, just as twattish as ever.

Chris Taylor, of Conroe Texas, if you keep posting vile horseshit via your wasp1461 account, I’ll keep reporting on it.

But, I WILL do you a deal…..if you admit that bz1461 and wasp1461 are both you, and then promise to stop tweeting racist insanity, then I will stop posting about you…..if you’re lucky my blog will, after time, stop being the top hit when anyone googles your name.

What do you say? Come clean, stop posting hatred, and be able to get on with your life? Or endless posts about what a nutcase you are. The choice is yours.
